A New Chapter…

First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone who has helped me cultivate my passion for food science over the last 4 years.

It has been my dream to attend Cornell University and major in Food Science through CALS (College of Agriculture and Life Sciences) for the last 5 years. I am very happy to announce that I have been admitted, and I committed to Cornell one week ago.

I look forward to the new opportunities that this adventure will provide me, from research to clubs, and even just the peers I will meet walking to class. I am so grateful for this tremendous opportunity.

As I start to transition to my life at Cornell, I wanted to share what I am looking forward to.

  • I look forward to emailing Drs. Martin Wiedmann and Nicole Martin to join their Food Safety Laboratory and Milk Quality Improvement Program research group.

  • I look forward to enrolling in the Food Science 1101 course, for which I have numerous ice cream recipe ideas, to hopefully compete with the competition.

  • I look forward to joining the Creme de Cornell team and sharing my passion for food with the world through their magazines.

I will continue to share my experiences throughout my time at Cornell, and continue to learn everything I can about Food Science!
